August 2025 Update

OFSTED Inspection

We had an OFSTED inspection last month and we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Outstanding.

The children on the day were all amazing and the inspector enjoyed spending time with the children and staff. She went away with cards and pictures drawn by the children.

Things we are particularly proud of:

"Staff consistently demonstrate exemplary practice across the provision, serving as excellent role models for children."

"Staff are exceptional role models for children's communication and language. They skilfully deliver targeted interventions that support children in making substantial progress in their attention, listening, and speaking skills."

"Staff deploy themselves effectively to ensure high levels of interaction."

"Staff are consistent and sensitive as they support children to make positive behaviour choices. They skilfully engage children when they struggle to follow the rules, and this supports them in understanding staff expectations."

This couldn't be achieved without the whole team who strive daily to provide a fun environment where children grow and thrive. Thank you again to all of the parents and Committee who have been so supportive.

Warwickshire Inclusion Kitemarking Scheme

We are delighted to also share that we were also awarded Silver last week by Warwickshire Inclusion Kite-Marking Scheme for our support of children with SEND. We attended an award ceremony last week and were presented with our certificate.

Time for School

Earlier this month, many of our children have been in to visit their new schools and meet their new teachers. They have returned enthusiastic and excited to share their experiences. We have also welcomed Reception Teachers to the Pre-School to meet the children.

We have set up a role play school in pre-school. There is uniform for the children to try on, books about starting school, exercise books with pencils and magnetic letters. We clearly have some budding teachers in our midst who have really enjoyed teaching and allocating play time to each other!

Thank you to everyone who supported Pre-School when we opened up our outdoor garden area for Harbury Open Gardens. The weekend was a great success and everyone enjoyed the children’s activities and refreshments while we raised funds for the Pre-School.
