Harbury Carnival 2009

This year Harbury Pre-School’s theme for our carnival float was “Noah’s Ark”.

A special thank-you goes to Masa and Ceri who designed and co-ordinated putting the Ark together, aided by a fantastic job from Pre-School parents. The finishing touch was the addition of some wonderful animal pictures painted by the children. We'd also like to thank the Hadley family - especially Rob - for providing and towing the float trailer.

Fortunately we had blue skies and sunshine rather than rain and floods on the day, with the latter being represented by the Pre-School staff. Penguins, monkeys, ladybirds, zebras, elephants, crocodiles, bears, bees, chickens, pigs and more were on board, and everyone’s efforts led us to winning First prize in the Children’s Floats category.
